A Quick Look

• The Quran database for Windows is a resource for the study, analysis, reference, recitation, and memorization of the Holy Quran.
• Each Verse (Ayat) is properly explained with Translations (both text & audio), several Tafseers, Commentary, Shan-e-Nuzool (circumstances of revelation), and related Ahadith (wherever applicable). Each Surah (chapter) and each Para (Juz) is provided with a summary introduction.
• Recitation options include Continuous, Loop, Range repetition, Background, by Ayat, Maqra, Juz, Surah, by Ruku, or freely. Quranic text is displayed in the Mushaf-e-Ajmi (IndoPak) script, the Mushaf-e-Amiri (Usmani) and the Medini (Hafs) scripts, an ancient style Mushaf without diacritical marks, a calligraphic Mushaf, and both Ajmi and Amiri colour-coded Tajweed Mushafs as well.
• Collections of Topic-wise verses, verses about the signs and events of Judgement Day, verses with the 99 blessed names of Allah جَلَّ جَلَالَهُ and of His Beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم, Quranic stories, Timeline of the Holy Quran, and more.
• You can create a list of your own Favourite verses, make with them a PowerPoint presentation; and listen to a set of Dua verses.
• Grammar, Root words with details, Abjad value, meaning and pronunciation of the Quranic Arabic words.
• Advanced search in Arabic (including by Root), and in all translation languages; Alphabetical index, count and frequency of words and alphabets (exportable to Excel), and diacritics in a selection, chapter/s, or the entire Holy Book.
• It can read out translations in your language of choice. You can adjust text size, select your own colours and fonts, print, WhatsApp, and use features like Auto-advance and Auto-recite for ease of access.
• Aspiring Qaris can record and use a recitation in their own voice. You have the option to Import your verse-wise Recitations and Translations into the database. You can also attach notes and videos to verses for future reference.
• You can export the Quranic and translations text to a customized PDF file, and audios to a customized MP3 file (also with Timings file) for use on a mobile device, etc. Developers can extract the verse-wise Text data and MP3 files for use in their own non-commercial applications.
• You can have unlimited Bookmarks with Auto-update option to restart a session (or recitation) from where you left it, how you left it. Can also be run minimized from the system tray.
• Includes an innovative full 24-hour Prayer times chart with prayer alert, zawal, midnight, 3rd part of night, Sehur end, and Iftar times; Qibla direction; Hijri dates conversion; Zakat calculator; a simple-to-follow ‘Revive a Sunnah’ list, the Millennium Biography, and the Farewell Sermon.
• The interface is simple, easy to use, ad-free, and the program itself requires no installation. Can even be used directy from a pendrive. The full-featured program runs offline on all versions of Windows (including Windows 11). It is completely Free to use and distribute.
